Your Mob

After having read the rules, the first thing to do when creating a mob is to find suitable models to represent your Captain and Standard Bearer. These will probably be the main focus of your mob, so it is worth spending time picking the right models with the "right" look for the Mob, and taking time to paint them up carefully. Next you should choose your other models, making sure you've picked the right combination of non-ranged weaponry for your 8 warriors. Whilst painting these, it's very effective to paint icons of the mob on the shields and chestplates of the models, to unify them. When your models are completed (painted, and maybe a few simple conversions) they are ready to battle. It may be better to try a few battles before you decide what to do with your complimentary 50 points. After this stage, your mob will have changed from how it started, it's now ready to join in the campaigns. All you need is to build a small piece of scenery to represent the mob's HQ and start playing. In not too long, you will have a unique mob which may be either flourishing or dwindling in numbers. If not doing too well, invade someone weaker tha you but try to avoid those who are stronger. Form an alliance with another mob to ensure you are protected: if 2 mobs are looking out for one another it is more likely that they will survive. Good luck in your games, may your standard march unchallenged through the mob world.
